Paladins reunion at Ink & Iron
The Stone River Boys will have a busy upcoming touring season. First up is a second tour of Europe for 2011 (see related news story). As soon as they get back they fly up to the Northwest for a three-day run highlighted by an appearance at the Sunbanks Rhythm & Blues Festival on May 20th.
In early June the SRBs tour through West Texas and Arizona on their way to play the prestigious Ink & Iron Festival in Long Beach California in the shadow of the Queen Mary on June 11th. Dave Gonzalez will also split his duties at this festival when he plays with his band the Paladins for a very special reunion on June 10th. The Paladins have not done a show in the US since 2005 and this will be their only one of the year. Dave is very excited to dust off his Guild and get Thomas Yearsly and Brian Fahey together to pump out the blistering rockabilly blues that the Paladins are famous for.
Then in early July the Stone River Boys depart Austin for a two-week jaunt through Midwest, which will be punctuated by performances at two great annual events, July 2nd at Fitzgeralds American Music Festival and July 9 at the Zoo Bar Anniversary Festival. Please check the tour dates for all upcoming shows in your area. The Stone River Boys hope to see you all down the road soon!
