SRBs During SXSW
The Stone River Boys will have four showcases during this year’s SXSW Music Festival in Austin Texas. All of these shows are free and open to the public. The first one will be at their favorite haunt, the Continental Club, where they will host the happy hour show Wednesday March 16th from 4:30-6 pm. Then on Thursday March 17th they will be playing at Threadgills for the Music Fog showcase and video taping of four songs. Music Fog is an online video source for promoting Americana music. Then on Saturday March 19th there will be two chances to see the band.
First up will be the Mojo Nixon party called Mojo’s Mayhem at the Continental Club. The SRBs will perform at 50 minute set at 1:25 pm, but get there early because there is always a packed house for this SXSW tradition. Then at 6 pm the Boys will be doing a 45 minute set at the Cow Island Music’s Spring Round Up at the G&S Lounge that features ten bands from 6 pm to 1 am.
For all of you who live in Texas or anyone coming to Austin for this great music festival, the Stone River Boys look forward to seeing you at their shows.
